Catalyst Exchange partners with place-based networks, statewide intermediaries, funders, and franchise-style organizations to strengthen the nonprofits they support. Each network manages dozens of teams, projects, advisors, and funding streams, which makes visibility and coordination extremely difficult. The Network Manager Dashboard is a centralized platform that unifies these workflows, giving network managers a structured, predictable way to track progress, engagement, and support across every organization in their network.

Idealist.org helps people find meaningful work in the social-impact sector. But job seekers consistently shared that they lacked clear, trustworthy information about fair pay. Salary data was scattered, confusing, or entirely absent, which made it difficult to understand what roles should earn and how compensation changes over time. The Salary Explorer is a tool that brings transparency to this process. It helps users collect salary inputs, compare ranges, and explore how pay shifts across titles, locations, and experience levels, making compensation easier to understand and act on.

Idealist needed simple tools that helped nonprofits manage applicants and quickly identify strong candidates. I designed the Applicant Tracker and Resume Recommender to make reviewing resumes, sorting candidates, and contacting prospects easier for small teams. These tools streamline the full hiring flow, from posting a job to evaluating recommended resumes, giving employers clear views of candidate progress and communication.

Catalyst Exchange required a new scalable design system following their name change that could support collaboration among Growth, Product, Engineering, and Executive teams. As the sole designer, I created an AI-compatible design system (with a storybook sync) and brand foundation that aligned with how the organization works. I rebuilt the full brand identity, including a new logo, illustration and iconography system, and a redesigned website.

Idealist Grad School Fairs are a long-running national event series connecting prospective students with social-impact graduate programs. My work included branding, digital advertising, landing pages, on-site materials, and content design. Even though Idealist had run these fairs for over a decade, attendance had plateaued. My challenge was to make the experience clearer and more useful for students.

Idealist's original onboarding experience was split across multiple flows, with unclear steps and heavy up-front requirements. This created friction for both job seekers trying to get oriented and administrators trying to post roles quickly. I redesigned the onboarding system across both sides of the marketplace, introducing clearer paths, simpler steps, and earlier value moments that improved activation.
